The company that article keeps is the point. This is not a publication that treats animal communication as a curiosity piece. It placed the subject in an issue otherwise given over to veterinary imaging, welfare economics and equine psychology, which puts intuitive communication in the same conversation as the rest of a horse owner's care toolkit.

Horses come to Angel's practice for the reasons horse people already recognise. A change in behaviour with no clear cause. Reluctance that reads as stubbornness but does not feel like it. Grief after a barn loses a member. Sessions are held remotely, so distance and trailering are not a barrier.
