Breakfast Television is Citytv's national morning show, and the segment put Angel in front of a general audience rather than a believing one. Hosts Meredith and Sid asked the question most viewers arrive with, which is not whether animal communication is real but what it actually looks like in practice.

That is a useful thing for a morning show to ask out loud. Most people meet the idea through a friend of a friend, or through a story about a lost pet. A live segment gives it a plainer shape: what a session involves, what an animal tends to communicate, and what an owner is left holding afterwards.

The animals Angel works with are rarely dramatic cases. They are the family dog who has stopped eating, the cat whose behaviour changed after a move, the horse nobody can settle. Often the owner already suspects the answer and needs it confirmed by something outside their own worry.
